Glass Knuckle Games
Based in Boston, MA
Press / Business contact:
Glass Knuckle Games is a studio from Boston, MA focused on creating brand new games with rude teen attitude. Starting in 2014 with retro-inspired, smaller indie games designed to be quick "pick up and play" titles, GKG is now focused on creating longer, narrative-rich games as it continues to evolve as a studio. We love fun!
HistoryGlass Knuckle's Beginnings
Glass Knuckle was formed by Dave Gedarovich and Brett Davis, two computer science students at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. The team's first official release: Martin's Descent (2013, Android), a rougelike with a text-based GUI. Other notable release: Dumble (2013, iOS/Android), a twin-stick shooter/wizard simulator. First commercial release: Polygon Storm (2014, Android), a groovy dodge-'em-up.The Team Grows
After the rampant success of Dumble, the team began work on two separate projects: a detective murder-mystery game, Noir Syndrome, and a Wild West stealth party game, Thief Town. First Steam releases: Noir Syndrome (2014, PC), Thief Town (2014, PC). The team gained the attention of the gaming press and YouTube alike, eventually travelling to PAX East, the Boston Festival of Indie Games, MAGFest, and Otakon. First console release: Thief Town (2015, PS4). Latest release: Defragmented (2016, PC), a cyberpunk action-RPG with visual novel elements. The team is now hard at work on two new projects, Heliophobia and Picross Makeout League.
